Computer Tips, Tricks, Tweaks and Tutorials - I cant find the Character Statistics in Microsoft Word 2007.

We received an e-mail from Richard, one of our subscribers with a question about Microsoft Word 2007.

He told us that he just upgraded his Microsoft Office Suite 2003 to Office 2007 and that he now needed some help with Microsoft Word 2007. He writes a lot and also for others. Here for it is needed to use not only the word count statistics but also the character statistics.

When you just upgraded your Office suite working with it can be a real nightmare since the complete lay-out is changed in the 2007 Office version.

Microsoft-office-word-help-pic1The word statistics can be found in the lower part of your window. And also the character statistics just double click on it and the pop-up will appear. It’s this simple. The new Microsoft Office Programmes are full of hidden options. Just click away;).

I hope this helps Richard, thank you for you e-mail.

You are welcome. It’s pretty easy to overlook something in the new lay-out.
