This morning I gave a PowerPoint presentation to a customer of Promedia Blogging and I thought it would be nice to fit this one in as a second tip of the day. So I hope you’ll enjoy this PowerPoint Tip and Trick.
During a presentation it frequently happens that you are hindered in your presentation. This can be by a phone call or because of question by your audience. This isn’t a problem but you have to be prepared. If you are interrupted than you’ll need to start from an earlier “chapter” before you can continue your presentation.
The ideal situation for this lead-in is to put your PowerPoint Presentation on “black” so that your audience isn’t distracted with the new slide you are just showing them. And it is really possible to fit in a black slide and it’s quite easy too.
To pause your presentation with a Black screen you simply press B and your presentation will stop.
If you now want to continue with your presentation you simply press Z and you’ll lose the Black screen and your presentation will continue from the slide where you’re pressed the B.
And if you can’t remember the B from Black you can also press W for a White pause screen.
And if you can’t remember neither of them (which I don’t hope for you) then right click and select your color screen.
Have a great day; I’ll talk to you all tomorrow.
