SimplyFile Review: Outlook on Steroids!

A while back I was talking with some online entrepreneurs about how they managed their incoming mails, newsletters and RSS feeds. We talked about this because I looked at all the different email addresses that I had and it seems that I have more than 200 different email addresses. I knew that I had many addresses because of all the websites I own but this really surprised me. Most of these email addresses are filed and/or being forwarded to a primary address and on addresses like webmaster@ or admin@, I rarely receive emails.
I cleaned up my outlook a year ago and moved most of my RSS Feeds and Newsletters to a second computer but my guess is that I now get about 400 emails per day, about 30 newsletters and about 50 RSS messages per day. I know because I work with Rescue Time that on an average day I’m working in outlook about 3.15 hours. I know I can’t reduce this much because most of my work happens abroad and involves sending emails. But I do want to have MS outlook better organized even though I already had it pretty well organized to begin with.
After many recommendations I decided to purchase a copy of SimplyFile and SimplyFile is an intelligent filing assistant for Microsoft Outlook. And I can already tell you that SimplyFile is the most amazing software I’ve come across in a long time.
I downloaded the file and installed it; the whole process took less than 2 minutes. I restarted MS outlook and the first thing that I discovered was a new SimplyFile toolbar.

When I took the above screenshot I had an email selected in my Unread folder. SimplyFile now guesses into which folder this particular email should go. And you can see his suggestion above, in this case my “Inbox Promedia Blogging”. I have 253 mail and archive folders and of the emails that SimplyFile for me archived, about 90% of the recommendations where a right match. This little piece of software is really amazing.
I know; we’ve covered here on The World of Office numerous Tips on setting up rules and working with little tricks to make your outlook more organized but none of the tricks made it this easy.
When you create an email with SimplyFile, you press Send and you get a new screen that asks you where to archive your send email. How super cool is this?? This is a huge time saver! You never have to search your send items folder ever again.

SimplyFile is only 0,5mb but packed with cool and useful features and before this article is becoming a whole book about all the other features here are some screenshots with short explanations.
Here you see the top of a new received message.

Nowadays we are all busy and don’t have time to respond on emails right away. No problem; simply hit the Snooze button.

The price of this add-on is $39 and it’s worth every dollar. It doesn’t matter how many email addresses you have. If you have a cluttered inbox, you will love this add-on. You can get more info about the SimplyFile add-on here and they also have a 30 day free trial that you can download immediately.
