I created a custom toolbar in Outlook 2007 because the changes I made to the Standard toolbar wouldn't stick. However, 4 of the 12 commands I have placed in the custom toolbar disappear EVERY time Outlook closes. They are the Delete, Categorize, Move to Folder..., and Mark as Unread commands. I cannot seem to find any information on the web that explains why this is happening, or a way to copy the custom toolbar so that I have a backup of my original.
