Hi all, today I have another Outlook optimizing Tutorial lined up for you. In general the only folder that I use is my unread mail folder. But I do use the other folders and mainly for archiving and organizing. I use many e-mail accounts since I have for practically all my blogs and sites separate addresses. Per day I receive a pretty amazing number of e-mails that I all want to archive (if I don’t delete them right away).
Since I don’t want to move each incoming e-mail to the right folder I’ve set the archiving on automatic and with this I mean that I have Outlook set that Outlook places all incoming e-mails for one specific address like “vincent@example.com” in the folder called “example”.
This is a pretty simple trick but it will save you lots of time if you don’t have to move all your incoming e-mails to the right folder.
Automatically archive your incoming mail into a specific folder.
I presume that you made several folders. If you didn’t do this, then press the New button and then Folder. Now you can create additional folders. If you want to do this later on, this is also possible when you are assigning folders.

-
Make sure that you select at Folder Contains; Mail and Post Items.

When you’re done click OK and now it’s time to set Outlook on automatically archive your incoming mail into a specific delivery folder.
You can do this with the following steps.
-
Go To Tools
-
Select Account Settings
-
And select the e-mail address that you want to archive.

-
And click on Change Folder.
-
Now you can select an e-mail delivery folder.
This is also where you can create a New Delivery Folder.
So that’s it for today and I hope you thought it was helpful. I’ll talk to you all tomorrow!!
