Just a short message about something cool that I was reading this morning that might be interested for you.
Most of you know that Microsoft Outlook 2007 can be used as an RSS Reader and if you have Outlook 2007 then you are probably using it since it really is a great reader. This morning I was reading on one of the webmaster forums that using Outlook as an RSS reader isn’t limited to 2007 users. If you are using Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later you can go to the Newsgator website and download a free Newsgator inbox.
All you need is Microsoft Windows 2000, XP or Vista. Microsoft Outlook 2000 or later and Microsoft .NET 2.0 or later and this can be downloaded from Microsoft.com. I don’t have the exact download link for you because this might be different per country but just Google for it or search the Microsoft Download center.
I didn’t test it but Newsgator really is a trustworthy source and is one of the most used RSS readers around so it’s very save to use their software. So have fun using Outlook as you RSS reader.
