It’s Outlook Wednesday and it’s time for another Outlook tutorial. Due to the rebuild of this blog I haven’t been able to publish any Outlook tutorials for the last two weeks but from of today where picking it up again. I’ll be talking in the next couple of weeks about e-mail list or so called distribution lists.
Today I want to start with the basics and show you how you can create a normal distribution list.
Follow the next steps to create your own e-mail distribution list.
First you’ll need to have open your Outlook contacts.
-
Then go to file.
-
Go to new
-
And select distribution list. (or click CTRL + SHIFT + L)

-
Now you’ve opened an empty distribution list.

-
Click on select members
-
And double click on all the particular addressees for this e-mail list.

-
Once you’ve done this you’ll need to click OK to close this window.
-
Now you’re back to your distribution list and before you save this you’ll need to give you list a name. I’m calling my “family” since they are my relatives.

-
Now click on Save & Close and you’re done.
If you want to check if you’ve created you’re e-mail list correctly, then go back to your outlook contact folder and then the list should be mentioned somewhere with you F contacts.

There are a couple of ways to coop with distribution list but we’ll get into this a little more next week.
I use distribution lists a lot, I couldn’t go without anymore so I hope you’ll liked this Outlook Tutorial too. I’ll talk to you all tomorrow!!
