Okay you have been playing around with the Microsoft Live Instant Messenger and you love it. You only think it’s too bad that the Messenger Window has an Ad on it. We have a small tutorial for you to make the live Microsoft Messenger ad free.
Let’s Clean up the live messenger window.
Before we go on first this: please note that this tweak (as many tweaks are) isn’t supported by Microsoft. This is created by an Instant Messenger “fan/user”. I tried it myself and the Instant Messenger works great, otherwise I wouldn’t have showed you of course.
1. Okay first you need to close your Live Instant Messenger and than you need to download the MSN Patch.
2. Once you’ve downloaded the Patch double click it and run the program. We are now changing the Windows Live Messenger Core to remove the ads. Select all and click OK to create the back-ups and if the option “Patch Messenger” is selected click Next.

3. At the next page you’ll see a full list with other Live Messenger Tweaks. I didn’t test the other Tweaks because of the lack in time. Just subscribe to our RSS and Ill let you know very soon if they are all working. Okay, back to business. Click next to go to page 2.
4. Select remove advertisement.

5. And click next till you applied the patch and at the last screen you select Launch MSN Messenger to see if the patch worked.
I hope you’ll enjoy your ad free Microsoft Live Messenger.
And again please note: This patch isn’t supported by Microsoft, it’s even against there regulations!
We of The World of Office Tips and Tricks can not be held responsible for any damage done by the Patch. Even though it worked for us it might not for you. If the patch didn’t work for you, like when you had the Live Messenger running while applying the patch you can always select the Restore Backup option in the patch.
Have fun with your ad free Messenger and don’t forget to let us know if it worked for you okay.
