Today I want to talk to you about Kaplan Open Learning. Kaplan Open Learning is an affiliate college of the University of Essex in the United Kingdom and offers a range of online distance learning Foundation Degrees in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Sales Management and Internet Marketing.

Kaplan Open Learning provides a real university classroom environment and provides students with the flexibility to study from anywhere: work, home or on the move. With no need to travel, and the ability to fit study around other commitments, the courses are ideally suited to the needs of working adults, providing a flexible and value for money means of helping students develop or change their careers.

The College provides university level education, offering programmes of study for students who wish to obtain a university Foundation Degree or top up that degree to an Honours Degree. The Kaplan Open Learning courses provide ‘real world’ collaborative learning through an online forum, student discussions and work based assignments. Every student has their own adviser, to provide support throughout the programme.

When I lived in Rotterdam I joined a Rotterdam university and participated in a class for Ships Construction and Engineering and after these years I participated in classes to get my degree in Business and Management. I haven’t worked in the ship industry for quite some time now but business and management is still a daily part of my life although it’s now more internet related. I am currently taking some online courses in internet marketing and I am also considering taking part in some Online Management Courses. Kaplan Open Learning came just I the right time for me with this sponsored post.

Before I go on I have to say that I try to be neutral when I accept a sponsored post or review. I rarely really recommend something or someone but if you are even lightly considering participating in a course you should really have a look. I really like there site. Since I was already thinking about taking an Online Management Courses, I registered myself and downloaded the prospectus and had a look at there Virtual Campus.

When I was there and I was there initially for the course Business Management but I was quickly distracted by there programme internet marketing. I get ever few days from colleague Internet Marketeers, Probloggers and web entrepreneurs, e-mails saying that they are launching a new internet course but I never saw a course Internet Marketing before that was given by an official institute and it really looks nice. The first of two modules covers everything from marketing fundamentals to business skills and finances and the second modules covers topics like planning and web design and marketing tools.

My closing: the site looks nice, the programs seem compressive and you can start whenever you like and you can do this on your own pace if you desire this. I really do recommend Kaplan Open Learning. If you decide to participate in one of there classes please contact me. Maybe we can team up.
