We posted earlier this week a list with the 30 most used keyboard combinations for Microsoft Word. Today we have a list ready for you to use with Microsoft Excel.

This is the list of the 30 most used keyboard combinations/shortcuts and hotkeys for Microsoft Word.

 

CTRL+B - Make letters bold.

CTRL+I - Make letters italic.

CTRL+U - Make letters underline.

CTRL+C - Copy the selected Text or Cell.

CTRL+X - Cut the selected Text or Cell.

CTRL+V - Paste the selected Text or Cell.

CTRL+Z - Undo the last action.

CTRL+Y - Redo the last action.

CTRL+SHIFT+Z - is used to reverse the last automatic correction

 

CTRL+S – Saves your entire workbook.

CTRL+A - Selects the entire worksheet.

CTRL+F or CTRL F5 - Opens the search dialog box with the find tab selected.

CTRL+H - Opens the search dialog box with the replace tab selected.

SHIFT+F4 - Opens the search box and repeats the last Find action.

CTRL+SHIFT+F - Opens the Format Cells dialog box

CTRL+G or F5 - Displays the Go To dialog box.

CTRL+K - Opens the Hyperlink dialog box

CTRL+N - Creates a new, blank workbook.

CTRL+O - Displays the Open dialog box to open or find a file.

 

CTRL+SHIFT+O - selects all cells that contain comments.

CTRL+P - Displays the Print dialog box.

CTRL+SHIFT+P - Opens the Format Cells dialog box with the Font tab selected.

CTRL+W - Closes the selected workbook window.

CTRL+T - Displays the Create Table dialog box.

CTRL+; - Enters the current date.

CTRL+SHIFT+: - Enters the current time.

CTRL+SHIFT+" - Copies the value from the cell above the active cell into the cell or the Formula Bar.

CTRL++  - Displays the Insert dialog box to insert blank cells.

CTRL+- - Displays the Delete dialog box to delete the selected cells.
