We already had an Excel Tip & Trick where we combined the use of Text and Numbers in the same Excel Cell. If you want to combine text and the date for the same Excel Cell it works a bit different.
If you want to combine the date and text in MS Excel you’ll need to take the following steps.
-
Select Cell A1 and give it a value like “Real Time”
-
Select Cell C1 and fill in a date or type in the formula: =TODAY()

-
Now select Cell A5 and type in the following formula: =A1&" "&TEXT(C1;"MM/DD/YYYY")

And now you have combined the date and text in one single Excel Cell.

I hope you all liked this Excel Tip and Trick, I’ll see you all tomorrow.
