Here are a few posts the other readers recommend you check out.

This article is a very valuable for when you are sorting your data in Microsoft Excel. It frequently happens that people (like me) have huge lists of entries that we need to sort out. And this can be a nasty job if you don’t know what you’re doing.

In today’s Microsoft Excel Tip and Trick I would like to show you how you can filter all the double entries and move them to another column, this way you are not losing any data that might be important.

Here’s a Microsoft Excel tutorial to remove all duplicate entries in your spreadsheet.

  • First you’ll need to select the column that you want sorted; in this case column A.
  • Now go to Data
  • And Click on Advanced (filter)

  • In the Advanced Filter Window you’ll need to check mark the option “Copy to Another Location”.
  • Type in the field “copy to”: B1
  • And checkmark the option “Unique Records Only”.

  • And press OK

Now all the single valued data is in the column B and you can process this any way you like.

I hope you all liked this very very useful Excel Tip and Trick. Talk to you all tomorrow.
