To turn off the system beeps in Windows XP you’ll need to follow the following steps.

Go to start

Select run

And type “regedit”

Now navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound

Now right click on Beep.

And select Modify.

Change the value equal to “no”.

Click OK
-
Reboot and you’re done.

Today’s XP Tip and Trick is a pretty cool trick for Multi-User computers. I want to show you with this XP Tweak to create a desktop shortcut for fast user switching. This will able you to quickly access a second or third account while having the other session’s active in the background.
It’s real easy; for creating a Desktop Shortcut for fast user switching you have to follow the next few steps.

First you’ll need to right click somewhere on your desktop.

And select new and create shortcut.

Now you need to give the shortcut a new location and you can do that by copy and paste this location “c:\windows\system32\tsdiscon.exe”.
3 Quick Tips for Windows Users.

Instead of typing http://www.example.com you can just type "example" and then press CTRL+ENTER and it automatically puts in the http://www and the .com.
