Give Some Color to Your Spreadsheet.
Earlier this week we talked about changing the background picture of your Excel Spreadsheet. This isn’t an Excel Tip & Trick that you can’t live without and this Tip & Tricks isn’t going to simplify your life but hé, it is a fun one!! And that’s the same for today’s Tip & Trick. Although it is a fun one and a helpful Tip & Trick, it isn’t a lifesaver.
Today I want to show you how you can give your spreadsheet a bit more color.
This is how it looks now. (kinda boring)

Color your Excel tab.
· Right click on the tab you want to color.
Change the Background Picture of Your Spreadsheet.
I hope you’ve liked yesterday’s Add Copy To and Move To to your right click menu trick.
I don’t have a trick for you today but a very cool excel tip for making your spreadsheet look a lot better than the normal boring white sheet. I don’t know why not many people use it because it really makes a big difference for the looks and it’s a real simple trick too.
If you want to change the background picture of your Spreadsheet you’ll need to take the following steps.
Simply go to the tab Page Layout and select Background.

I do suggest that you use a lighter colored picture than this example;).
Formula for Calculating the End Date of a Project.
We covered some pretty cool Excel formula’s this week and I hope you’re ready for the last one. I used this one a lot when I still had a day job as a sales- and project manager. This excel formula can be used for determining the end date of a project or a certain time span. Of course you use it in your own advantage by giving it your own twist.
For calculating the end date of a project you’ll need to take the following steps.
· First you’ll to fill in the steps/subprojects with the estimated day’s that are needed for the steps.

And today were continuing with another Excel Tip & Trick. And it’s another Cool Excel Trick. I showed you on Monday a Formula to Calculate the Price Reduction or Discount. On Tuesday I showed you a Formula for Converting the Currency Dollars to Euros. And I’m having fun with the currency formulas so I have another one for you today. Unfortunately this can be now a day’s a very useful one too. It’s kind of the same as yesterday where I talked about changing my advertising and review values into Euros instead of dollars. This is of course caused by “strong” dollar, hmmm. One other good way of losing money is investing in Stocks especially in financials (again hmmm).

To convert the currency from Dollars to Euros in Excel you’ll need to take the following steps.

Hi folks, I hope you all had a great weekend and that you are ready for some cool Tricks. Well, I don’t have any cool tricks lined up for you this week. As I’ve told you last Friday I had planned for this week some very useful Excel formulas and for Wednesday ready another Outlook tutorial.
We are going to create an easy to work with formula for calculating the price reductions or discounts of a specified product range.
Follow the next steps to calculate the price reduction.
· First step is to create a spreadsheet kind of similar as this one.

· Then select Cell C1 and Type in -20%
