Changing the Background / Wallpaper in Microsoft Word.

Some people find it disturbing working with the white background that they use in Microsoft Word especially when they work a lot with MS Word. It seems that working with a darker color is easier for the eyes.

Here’s a small Tutorial for changing the Background / Wallpaper color in Microsoft Word.

Follow the next step for Microsoft Word 2003.

  • Go to menu format
  • Go to the background
  • And select the background color you desire

This is how you do it in Microsoft Word 2007.

  • Go to the menu Page Layout
  • Select Page Color
  • And select the background color which you desire

It’s more comfortable for the eyes to use the darkest color possible; I suggest you try the dark blue, give it a try.
