Recently I read somewhere that Adobe estimates that there are currently 300 million PDF’s in circulation which of course already an amazing number and the use of PDF’s is still growing exponential. If I look at my own business; not using PDF’s is simply not an option. Whether they are contracts, invoices or any other documents, everything is send as a PDF via email. I can’t even remember the last time that I used our fax.
I recently started using a nifty little application called AnyBizSoft PDF Converter. AnyBizSoft PDF Converter is a very easy to use small conversion tool for converting your PDF’s to Word, Powerpoint, HTML and Text Files. AnyBizSoft PDF Converter has 2 conversion modes which are batch (up to 200 PDF’s) and partial conversions.

Microsoft Word 2007 is capable of working with documents in three file formats. The native format uses the file extension ".docx". Files saved in this format can use the full range of features found in Word 2007, with the exception of macros. Any Word 2007 document which contains macros must be saved in a separate file format using the file extension ".docm".
In addition to these two native formats, Word 2007 is also capable of both opening and creating documents using the ".doc" file extension, the file extension found in previous versions of Word. Word 2007 files saved with this file extension will not have access to the full range of features found with in Word 2007. Features which have been introduced in 2007, such as Themes, will not be available in documents saved with the file extension ".doc".

This next Microsoft Office Trick and Tip is especially handy when you work at a “public” computer at the office. This probably isn’t necessary at home unless you’re working with multiple users at one computer. The problem is that when you leave your computer for one minute, willing people might check what your doing and the recent items is the first thing they’ll check. Here is a Windows Tutorial for leaving this field empty.

How to Hide the Recent Documents and Programs in Vista
-
Right click the Start
-
Select Properties from the menu

-
Than go to the Start Menu tab if it isn’t open already.

The number of invites, we receive for writing software reviews is pretty amazing. Most products will change the world or they pretend to even solve the world hunger problem. They are all incredible… Not. Most of the request we receive will land in the bin immediately, especially if they write in the first paragraph that they are unmatched and the best in the field. This wasn’t the case a couple of weeks ago. I received a short, friendly email from a company called Novosoft, it was a nice lady asking me if I could check out her backup software.
